For duplex and single-family villas, which home elevator to choose is more worry-free

In recent years, as the global aging population continues to rise, how to facilitate the lives of the elderly has become a hot topic of social discussion. The installation of home elevators can facilitate the life of the elderly living in villas, especially duplex and single-family villas. Let the elderly no longer have to toil up and down the stairs, and move more freely at home.
Main terms of elevator
1. Top floor height—the distance from the finished surface of the highest floor to the top of the hoistway
2. Depth of the pit-the vertical distance from the finished surface of the lowest floor to the bottom of the hoistway
3. Floor height—the vertical distance from the finished surface of the current floor to the finished surface of the upper floor
4. Lifting height/stroke—the maximum distance of elevator operation (the vertical distance from the floor of the end station on the bottom floor to the floor of the end station on the top floor)
5. Load capacity—the maximum variable load allowed by the elevator
6. Speed-the car speed specified by the elevator design
7. Floor station—the place where each floor is used to enter and exit the car
8. Hoistway-lift car and counterweight or (and) kiln with hydraulic cylinder plunger movement
Types of home elevators
Household elevators mainly include hydraulic, traction, screw, and other types according to different driving methods. Hydraulic elevators have low requirements for pits, and many are used for freight elevators or special elevators with a large tonnage; traction type is suitable for single-family villas and self-built houses. It requires a certain pit depth and has low operating noise, which is the most widely used type; Screw elevators have relatively high safety and small footprint, which is suitable for duplex buildings and stacked villas.
Different types of traction elevators, screw elevators, and hydraulic elevators have different requirements for civil engineering. Common traction elevators need to take up a lot of space in the hoistway. The hoistway made of concrete can also be made of steel structure hoistway and glass curtain wall to create a sightseeing elevator; the depth of the pit is required to be at least 50cm; in addition, the height of the top floor also has certain requirements.
